Freshman Year Checklist:
1. Begin the conversation about college.
2. Take rigorous classes!
3. Get involved!!!
4. Get a folder or notebook that you can keep a list of your extra curricular activities in, as well as any rewards or recognitions you get over the next 4 years.
You have conquered freshman year! Next stop... 10th grade!
1. Begin the conversation about college.
- Do you know what you want to study?
- How far away from home do you want to be?
- Big school or small school?
- Is it affordable for my family and I?
2. Take rigorous classes!
- Colleges like to see that you have challenged yourself
- Take as many AP/Honors courses that you can handle
3. Get involved!!!
- Find extra curricular activities that you enjoy (i.e. sports, Honors Society, working, choir, etc.)
- Have a diverse range of activities that you are involved in
- Become a leader in those clubs
